About the Ninja +Positive Breathwork Experience

breather_platform

Ninja +Positive Breathwork is a breathing experience following the NeuroDynamic™ school of Breathwork methods.

As a fully trained and certified NeuroDynamic Breathwork™ Facilitator I offer both online and in-person breathwork experiences for individuals and groups, enabling participants to connect deeply with our own personal inner guiding intelligence.

All Ninja Breathwork experiences focus intensly on creating safe, nurturing spaces enabling each participant to express fully and securely.

Each Ninja Breathwork experience lasts for approximately 2 hours. The online sessions are hosted using the Zoom conferencing software.

Each breathing session begins with a short introductory talk covering the schedule for the breathwork experience and setup considerations as we settle into our space. This is followed by a 50 minute breathwork experience listening to powerful, evocative, dynamic music. Using deeper, faster breathing while being bathed in the sound of carefully selected music allows you to quiet the thinking mind and gain access to your amazing inner intelligence psyche. After the session, there is ample time for participants to share their breathwork experience with the group in a safe sharing circle.

NeuroDynamic Breathwork™

This powerful science-based NeuroDynamic Breathwork™ modality was created by Michael Stone using his extensive experience as a Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator (after facilitating over 1000+ breath workshops) combined with his scientific background to realise his vision of enabling anyone, anywhere in the world, to experience the benefits of regular breathwork sessions in a convenient, cost-effective format. He (and I) believe that breathwork can support the change in world consciousness that we so desperately need right now.

In NeuroDynamic breathwork workshops we use deeper focussed breathing, sustained for a period of time, in a safe space created by the facilitator, while listening to dynamic music to process and release emotions, connect to our intuitive and creative impulse and improve health and well-being.

Other breathwork workshops are practiced in person and require both significant monetary and time investments but NeuroDynamic Breathwork™ workshops can be done online and inexpensively from the comfort of your home.

NeuroDynamic Breathwork™ uses carefully curated evocative, dynamic music to take you on powerful journeys into deep states of awareness using only sound and breath.

Online Breathing Tips

If your Ninja +Positive Breathwork is an online experience, it is helpful to be aware of the following tips for ensuring you get the best possible session.

  • Computer Setup

A hard-wired internet connection is ideal, but a solid Wi-Fi reception will also work. Mobile phones without wi-fi offer the worst experience due to connectivity and sound drop-out problems.

  • Audio Setup

Sound is a significant part of your Ninja Breathwork experience. The more you can do to ensure great sound quality the better.

In order of quality, it is ideal to use wired headphones. Failing that, bluetooth headphones have been acceptable. After that, a good set of computer speakers works well (although the volume will be high, so make other people aware of this in advance.) Ear buds are generally unacceptable.

Another consideration for audio quality is whether you use your computer or your phone/tablet. The Zoom software will give stereo sound on your computer but only mono sound on a mobile device.

  • Environment Preparation

You will need to set up the space in which you will hold your breathing experience. You can perform the breathing either sitting in a comfortable chair or lying down. You will need your computer, tablet, or phone within arm's reach.

Your Ninja Breathwork is an internal experience so you will need a blindfold, eye mask, dark glasses or keep your eyes closed throughout.

Place a Do Not Disturb sign on your door if you are in a space with other people. Also, make them aware that you may be making sounds or calling out during the experience and not to worry, it is part of the process and they should not disturb you.

  • Body Preparation

It is ideal to hold your breathwork experience when your stomach is not too full. It is suggested that you not eat anything within 60 minutes of your session if possible, or just take a light snack in advance.

  • Confidentiality

Confidentiality is important in these breathwork sessions so that all participants feel safe to share their experiences and be fully self-expressed during their breathing experience. ALL participants must agree not to discuss any other participant's experience or anything that another person shares.

There is no audio, video, text, or image recording permitted for any portion of the breathwork exprience.
